Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry position in Alexandria, LA, working night shifts in a MedSurg/Tele unit with a minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience required.
Details
- Telemetry unit (MedSurg/Tele) in an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week travel contract
Requirements
- Active RN license — Louisiana or Compact license required
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
- Current NIHSS certification required for Telemetry RNs
- Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience in telemetry or MedSurg/Tele
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- One professional reference required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- ACLS certification requirements should be confirmed at time of submission if applicable
