Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cardiac Telemetry pre/post procedural unit, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience, Charge RN experience, and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Pre/post procedural unit supporting the Cath Lab, EP Lab, PV Lab, and Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Patient population includes Same Day PCI patients and those returning from IR, EP, Cath, and PV labs requiring arterial/venous access monitoring
- Telemetry monitoring required for select patients — not all patients are on telemetry
- Unit hours are Monday–Friday, 5:30 AM – 9:00 PM; no weekend or holiday shifts
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Epic EMR experience is required
Requirements
- Active NC RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Telemetry experience required
- Charge RN experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Experience managing and monitoring arterial and venous access patients, including radial and ulnar access and hemostasis monitoring
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care to patients undergoing cardiac catheterization, electrophysiology, peripheral vascular, and interventional radiology procedures
- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance; two attempts are allowed — study materials will not be provided by the facility, so candidates should prepare in advance
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
