Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position in Peoria, IL, requiring Epic EMR experience and a minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience.
Details
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- No on-call requirements
- Weekend rotation required
- Holiday rotation required
- May float to other hospitals within the Carle Health system
Requirements
- Active IL RN license required (temp license accepted)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- BSN required
- Minimum 1 year of relevant ICU nursing experience
- Epic EMR experience required
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Additional Information
- Provides comprehensive nursing care to ICU patients through assessment, individualized care planning, and ongoing evaluation
- Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care from admission to discharge
- Performs bedside lab testing and specimen collection in accordance with hospital policies
- Educates patients and families using culturally and age-appropriate teaching strategies
- Participates in performance improvement initiatives, data collection, and unit-based councils
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract
- Candidates who have been on assignment with Carle Health for 1 continuous year must take a 6-month break before returning to any Carle Health location
