Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for an outpatient urgent care setting in Big Sky, Montana, requiring ARRT certification and a minimum of 1 year of experience.

Details

  • Outpatient urgent care radiology setting in Big Sky, MT
  • Performs diagnostic X-ray and fluoroscopic imaging procedures
  • Procedures include fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic exams, US-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis, PICC placement assistance, and C-arm fluoroscopy in the OR
  • Thursday through Sunday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (4x9-hour shifts)

Requirements

  • Graduate of a CAHEA-accredited Radiology program or equivalent
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience (clinical internship experience may be considered)
  • Current ARRT certification required
  • Current AHA BLS required
  • Montana Radiology Technologist license required if applicable
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and perform frequent standing, walking, reaching, and pushing/pulling
  • Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

  • Performs radiographic exams ordered by healthcare providers and documents results for interpretation, reporting, and archival
  • Assists radiology nursing staff with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements and supports radiology providers during interventional procedures
  • Performs C-arm fluoroscopy in the OR at the request of surgeons
  • Conducts patient education for pre- and post-procedure radiology care
  • Role involves continuous exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious disease environments standard to medical imaging settings
  • On-call availability may be required
