Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience, ARRT(N) and CNMT certifications, and Epic proficiency for a hospital-based travel assignment.
Details
- Hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Preferred equipment experience includes Philips and Siemens imaging systems
- Preferred procedural experience includes Gastric Emptying, HIDA Scan, MUGA Scan, Bone Scans (3-Phase, Limited, Whole Body), Brain Scans (Cerebral Blood Flow), Liver/Spleen Scans, Lung Scans (Perfusion, V/Q), Renal Flow studies, Shunt studies, Thyroid Studies, and Tumor Localization
- Preferred SPECT experience includes Bone, Brain, Liver, Renal, and Sestamibi Parathyroid
- Preferred cardiac imaging experience includes Myocardial Perfusion, Exercise/Rest, and Pharmacological Stress studies
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience required
- Hospital setting experience required
- Nuclear Cardiology experience required
- ARRT(N) and CNMT certifications required
- Current BLS required
- State license required if applicable
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Experience working with adult patient populations required
- Preferred skills include drawing venous blood, starting and maintaining peripheral IVs, adhering to isolation precautions, and safe storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- One RTO request is permitted for the duration of the contract
- All time off and scheduling requests must be disclosed at the time of initial submission
- Two professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- A full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
