Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel assignment in an active interventional radiology/operating room setting.

• Interventional Radiology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Operating room-based IR environment
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagrams, arteriogram with intervention, venogram with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, G-tube placement, and TIPS
• Primary equipment includes Philips Azurion; must be competent with both Philips and Siemens equipment platforms
• Ultrasound used for arterial and venous access
• 5x8-hour day shifts, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
• On-call is required, including some weekends

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required; VI credential preferred but not required
• Current BLS required
• Must be competent with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms and ultrasound-guided vascular access
• Proficiency in a broad range of IR procedures including stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, Y90, TIPS, and vascular/venous access procedures
• SC or Compact license required (license required if applicable)
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
• Pending licenses are not accepted
