Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience and ARRT certification for a 13-week travel contract in an interventional radiology operating room setting.

Details

• Interventional Radiology unit within an operating room setting
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• On-call required, including some weekends
• Procedures include stroke thrombectomy, embolization, kyphoplasty, fistulagrams, arteriograms with intervention, venograms with intervention, dialysis access, venous access, Y90, chest port placement, nephrostomy tube placement, PTC, G-tube placement, and TIPS
• Uses Philips Azurion, Siemens equipment platforms, and ultrasound for arterial/venous access

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology experience required
• ARRT (R) certification required; VI credential preferred but not required
• Current BLS required
• Proficiency with Philips and Siemens equipment platforms required
• Proficiency with ultrasound for arterial and venous access required
• SC or Compact license required if applicable
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Pending licenses are not accepted
