Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position, requiring a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Hospital Med/Surg Tele unit with a primarily medical-surgical patient population
- Patient population includes observation, respiratory conditions, general med/surg diagnoses, palliative/end-of-life/hospice, psychiatric observation, diabetes, and surgical patients
- Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required; holiday coverage as needed
- Floating required across all system facilities if needed
- EMR: Epic (mandatory experience required)
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Two professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
- 13-week contract
