Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of Med/Surg experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week night shift contract.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit within a large academic medical center
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:30–07:30)
• Estimated patient ratio of 1:3
• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the organization as needed
• Weekend shifts required on a rotating basis
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• Epic EMR used; prior experience required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
• Proficiency in IV insertion required
• Telemetry monitoring experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
