Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR Circulator RN for a 13-week travel contract requiring a minimum of 2 years of full-time circulating experience, on-call availability, and active TX or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Main OR circulator role in a hospital operating room setting
• Performs a broad range of surgical procedures, excluding cardiac, neurological, and spinal surgeries
• Floating required to the Surgery Center in a circulating role as needed
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• On-call required for nights, weekends, and holidays — minimum 3 weekend days per month and 1 day per week
• Late shifts are mandatory
• Scrubs are provided by the facility

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• CNOR certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years of full-time OR circulating experience required
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply provided they meet the experience requirements
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including testing for marijuana — a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions; candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive result, including CBD products, prior to and upon arrival
