Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCU) position requiring a minimum of 2 years of specialty experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

• Progressive Critical Care Unit (PCU) in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Minimum 2 years of recent PCU or relevant critical care experience required

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Progressive Critical Care
• Epic EMR experience is required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• All certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
• US Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted (personal and religious exemptions are not accepted)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington
• ICU-level competency testing is required and must be passed within 2 attempts
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week contract period may result in termination; any missed shifts must be made up within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at time of submission
• Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
