Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) travel position in Albany, NY, requiring 2 years of PICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

- Located in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of an academic medical center in Albany, NY
- Night shift schedule: 19:00–07:30
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent PICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- All certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS) must be issued by AHA or RQI
- Active US Social Security Number required; Canadian SIN not accepted
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations are not permitted
Additional Information
- Must reside outside the following counties to be eligible: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington (50-mile radius rule applies)
- ICU applicants must complete and pass a competency test — two attempts are allowed
- No blocked scheduling permitted
- Any time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application
- Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
