Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced LDRP RN for a Labor, Delivery, Recovery & Postpartum position at a Critical Access Hospital in Eastern Montana, requiring active MT or compact RN licensure and night shift availability.

• Critical Access Hospital setting in Eastern Montana
• LDRP unit caring for laboring patients, postpartum mothers, and newborns
• Responsibilities include triage, non-stress tests (NSTs), serving as 2nd nurse at deliveries, and managing overflow patients
• Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration
• Night shift: 18:45–07:00, three shifts per week
• 36 hours per week

Requirements

• Active MT or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required; must be labor-trained
• Required certifications: BLS/BCLS, NRP, STABLE, and Fetal Monitoring (Intermediate or above)
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide comprehensive care across the labor, delivery, and postpartum continuum, including support for patients experiencing pregnancy or birth complications
• Collaborate with physicians, pediatricians, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver patient-centered outcomes
• 13-week contract
