Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) position in Golden, CO, requiring active CO or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of IMC experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Intermediate Care Unit (IMC) setting
• Night shift schedule: 1900–0730, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• 12-hour shifts
• Charting performed in Epic EMR
• May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications
• May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift

Requirements

• Active CO or compact RN license required — no pending licenses accepted
• Current certifications required (must be AHA and not expire prior to start date): BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• TNCC preferred
• Minimum 1 year of IMC or relevant specialty experience required
• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care including ongoing health data collection, health teaching, and counseling
• Executes delegated medical functions, refers patients for further evaluation or treatment, and reviews and monitors therapy and treatment plans
• Documents in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines
• Nurses who were permanent staff at any Intermountain facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
