Description
American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment in a Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring RCIS certification and proficiency with Cath Lab and EP procedures.
Details
- Acute care hospital Cardiac Cath Lab setting
- Float between EP and Cath Lab as needed
- Procedures include LHC, PCI, Impella, TAVR, Watchman, EP studies, ablations, pacemakers, ICDs, BI-V pacemakers, AAA endografts, and peripheral interventions
- Equipment includes Siemens X-ray and McKesson Hemo systems
- Epic EMR used for charting
- Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts
- On-call required 2 days per week and every other weekend, including on-call nights and holidays
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Current BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- RCIS (via CCI), NDMIRT, or RT(R) certification required
- Proficiency scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating Cath Lab and EP cases
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- License required if applicable
- Two professional references required — at least one from a supervisor within the last 12 months of relevant experience, and one from a peer or supervisor in the same specialty within the last 3 years
- Active certifications required at time of consideration; no pending certifications accepted
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating for both Cath Lab and EP cases
- Hospital-provided scrubs
- Candidates with a permanent address within 80 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Candidates with previous employment at any Sanford Health location must disclose this history; a prior end date of at least 6 months before the submission date is required for consideration
- All staff are required to badge in and out at the facility
