Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg and Skilled Nursing night shift position requiring an active CA RN license and Cerner EMR proficiency.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with rotation to the Skilled Nursing department
• Patient population includes adult and pediatric (non-critical) Med/Surg cases
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications required: ACLS and PALS
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Ability to care for non-critical pediatric patients required
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include Med/Surg nursing care for adult and non-critical pediatric patients, with floating to the Skilled Nursing department as needed
• Clinicians must be familiar with Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals (NPSGs), including alarm management, patient restraint use, infection prevention, two-step patient identification, medication labeling and calculation safety, and identifying safety and suicide risks
• Orientation is paid in full
