Description
American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of IR experience, including neurovascular and vascular IR, for a 13-week travel assignment at a short-term acute care hospital.
Details
- Work in an Interventional Radiology unit at a 449-bed short-term acute care hospital
- Daily caseload of 10–15 cases per tech
- Vascular IR cases include endografts, neurovascular, trauma, and body IR procedures
- Facility is a stroke thrombectomy center
- Uses GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms
- Charting via Cerner
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Call requirement of one day per week, plus weekend call every third or fourth weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)
- Holiday coverage required as needed
- No floating requirement
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of IR Tech experience required
- Experience in neurovascular IR required
- Must be proficient in scrubbing cases and familiar with guidewires
- Familiarity with GE and Siemens fluoroscopy rooms required
- Current BLS required
- Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
- State license required if applicable — pending state license accepted, but must be active by start date
Additional Information
- Perform a broad range of IR procedures including vascular interventions, endografts, neurovascular cases, trauma, body IR, and stroke thrombectomy
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
