Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring at least 1 year of recent PACU experience and Level I trauma background, with rotating shifts including nights and evenings.

Details

  • Work setting is a hospital PACU (Phase 1) with 16 rooms
  • High-acuity patient population requiring critical care-level nursing
  • Rotating shifts: 0300–1530 or 1500–0330 (3x12-hour shifts)
  • Weekend work required per unit needs
  • On-call required per unit needs
  • No floating outside the unit required
  • Charting done in Epic

Requirements

  • Active CO or Compact RN license required
  • Minimum 1 year of recent PACU experience required
  • Level I trauma PACU experience required
  • Critical care experience required
  • Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
  • PALS preferred but not required

Additional Information

  • First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
  • Scrub color requirement: navy blue tops and bottoms, or black pants with a navy top
  • Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
