Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring Epic EMR experience and night shift availability.

Details

• Located in a 15-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU within a Level 1 trauma facility
• Patient population consists of adult surgical and trauma critical care patients
• Night shift schedule: 7p–7a (3x12-hour shifts)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required in accordance with facility float policy
• EMR: Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Surgical/Trauma ICU or adult critical care experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Driver's license and Social Security card copies required for consideration

Additional Information

• 13-week contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• RTO cannot be approved for Memorial Day weekend
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait at least 12 months before returning as a traveler
