Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Surgical ICU position at a Level 1 trauma facility, requiring ACLS certification and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Work in a 15-bed Surgical/Trauma ICU at a Level 1 trauma facility
• Patient population consists of adult surgical and trauma critical care patients
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
• 36 or 48 hours per week available
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required; RTO cannot be approved for Memorial Day weekend
• 13-week contract
• Floating required in accordance with facility float policy
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active VA or Compact RN license required; pending VA license will be accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Prior surgical/trauma ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Fast-paced, high-acuity environment caring for adult surgical and trauma ICU patients
• Up to 40 hours of RTO available per 13-week contract
• Block scheduling cannot be accommodated
• No radius rule — local candidates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must wait 12 months before returning as a traveler
