Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a minimum of 2 years of ER experience, with night shift availability and holiday coverage required.

Details

• Work in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Primarily weekday shifts with a minimum of every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage is required
• Option to flex to a 4x12 schedule based on unit needs and availability
• 13-week contract
• EMR: Meditech (experience preferred)

Requirements

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Compact state currently in hand
• Current certifications required (all through AHA): BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum of 2 years of ER experience required; 3 years preferred
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Local candidates are welcome to apply
• First-time travelers will be considered with 3 or more years of ER experience
• CPI/CIC certification is preferred; candidates without CPI may have the opportunity to obtain it on-site if the assignment extends beyond 3 months
