Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a Level II Trauma Center in Everett, WA, requiring at least 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit within a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total staffed beds across both campuses
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Parking is facility-paid

Requirements

• Active WA state RN license or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply, provided they have at least 2 years of experience
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable, with the exception of reddish-orange
• This is a high-acuity, high-volume department — travelers should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• The facility is known for treating travelers well and encouraging extensions
