Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU night shift position at a prestigious cardiac and heart hospital in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Located within a specialized heart hospital ICU
• Patient population consists of intensive care cardiac and critical care patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1-2
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• No on-call responsibilities
• Epic EMR used; experience required

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS — AHA-issued certifications only
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Proficiency with Epic documentation system required
• Proficient IV insertion skills required
• Telemetry experience required
• Ventilator competency required
• 2 professional supervisor references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration

Additional Information

• Previous travel nursing experience is preferred
• No 30-day break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs)
• All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial application
