Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of outpatient experience for a 13-week contract at a collaborative outpatient clinic setting with previous travel experience preferred.

Details

• Outpatient physical therapy clinic located on a hospital campus (facility is approximately 3 years old)
• Department also includes inpatient, acute rehab, and skilled care settings on campus
• 8-hour day shifts with start times varying between 7:30–8:00 AM
• 10–12 patients scheduled per day with 1:1 care
• Uses Epic EMR; prior Epic experience is preferred
• Rehab aides and PTAs are available to assist with throughput and turnover as a second set of hands
• 2 weekend shifts required over the 13-week assignment: one Saturday full day (with a weekday comp day) and one Sunday limited to ortho or stroke patients
• No required holiday coverage; volunteering is welcome
• Candidates must live more than 45 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Previous travel experience required for this outpatient role
• Current BLS certification required
• Active PT license required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

Additional Information

• Business casual attire required; khakis and polo shirts are the standard dress code
• Orientation consists of 1 shadow day, with independent patient coverage beginning on day 2
