Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Float Pool position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Med/Surg experience and night shift availability.
Details
- Med/Surg Float Pool position within a large academic hospital setting
- Float within units of equivalent or lower acuity as needed
- Patient ratios of 1:4-5
- Telemetry monitoring performed in this role
- Epic EMR used in this setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
- 36 hours per week
- Weekday and some weekend availability required, including holidays
Requirements
- Active OH or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience required
- Proficiency in IV insertion and telemetry monitoring required
- Epic EMR experience required
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to Med/Surg patients across units of varying acuity
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront
- No mandatory break between assignments is required when changing representation at this facility (except for Sterile Processing Techs, who still require a 30-day break)
