Description
American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist for a 13-week hospital-based outpatient rehab assignment, with a focus on adult speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Details
- Hospital-based outpatient rehabilitation clinic setting
- Treats adults presenting with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Proficiency with completing and interpreting outpatient Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) is preferred
- Collaborative team environment alongside OT and PT
- Day shift, 4x10-hour schedule, 8:00am to 6:00pm
Requirements
- Valid and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable)
- Experience in outpatient evaluation and treatment of adults
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
Additional Information
- Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for adults with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
- Perform and interpret Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) in an outpatient setting
- All time-off and scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration
- 13-week contract
