Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring a minimum of 1 year of recent ED experience and an active AL or compact RN license with no history of license violations.
Details
- Works in the Emergency Department of an acute care hospital setting
- Mid-shift schedule running 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active AL or compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted, and no prior or current hits on license allowed
- Minimum 2 years of total RN experience, with at least 1 year of recent ED experience
- BLS required
- Full SSN, current driver's license, and two professional references from within the last year are required for consideration
Additional Information
- Meditech EMR is used at this facility; prior experience is not required
- ED RNs are required to complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test prior to starting
- No HealthStream modules are required before the start date — competency-based modules are completed during virtual orientation
- Local candidates are welcome to apply and are eligible at the same rates with no radius restrictions
