Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist for a night shift position at a Level II Trauma Center in Green Bay, WI, requiring a minimum of 2 years of x-ray experience and proficiency with Epic and OEC C-arm.
Details
- Level II Trauma Center with 239 beds, also designated as a Primary Stroke Center with a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity unit
- Radiology department serving an average of 75–100 inpatient/outpatient cases and 50 surgical/pain clinic patients per day
- Adult and pediatric patient population with cases spanning general radiology, fluoroscopy, surgery, trauma, and diagnostics
- Fluoroscopy cases include lumbar puncture, hysterosalpingogram, video swallow, esophagram, arthrogram, and myelogram
- EMR: Epic (experience required); PACS: McKesson
- Equipment includes OEC C-arm (required), Canon, GE, and Siemens systems
- 4x10-hour night shifts, 9:00 PM–7:00 AM, Monday–Thursday
- No weekend rotation and no on-call requirement on nights
- Floating is limited to portable exams around the hospital
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of x-ray experience required
- Current BLS and ARRT certification required
- Active WI state license required, if applicable
- Surgical experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- OEC C-arm experience required
- Fluoroscopy experience preferred; candidates with minimal or no fluoro experience may be submitted for manager review
- Must be able to work with adult and pediatric patient populations
- At least 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year
- Candidate DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
- Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration
Additional Information
- Night shift Rad Techs may work solo, though other modality technologists are present in the department; Rad Techs are also available during day shifts
- Radiologists are on-site during the day; a third-party service reads STAT exams remotely on nights, with non-urgent reads completed the following day
- Transporter and Lead Tech support available during day shifts; RT and Hospitalist coverage available 24/7
- Orientation includes facility NEO followed by 3 shifts of unit-specific orientation
- Facility-provided scrubs are required
- Free parking is available on-site
- Holidays falling on a regularly scheduled shift are expected to be worked
- Up to 7 days of RTO may be approved
- First-time travelers will be considered on a case-by-case basis
- Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible for this position
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no radius restrictions
