Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 24 months of cardiac cath lab experience and proficiency with Artis Zee C-Arm and Impella for a travel contract in Iowa.
Details
- Cardiac cath lab setting performing peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures
- Average caseload of 4 patients/cases per day
- Equipment includes Artis Zee C-Arm, Impella, Maquet IABP, and Acist Injector
- Charting via Epic EMR
- Hospital-provided scrubs in light blue
Requirements
- Minimum 24 months of current Cardiac Cath Lab experience required
- Proficiency with fluoroscopy required
- Experience with peripheral and coronary angiography, PCI, and pacemaker procedures required
- Hands-on experience with Artis Zee C-Arm and Impella required; experience with Maquet IABP, Acist Injector, iFR, and IVUS highly preferred
- ARRT or RCIS (CCI) certification required
- Active BLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Active ACLS (AHA or ARC) required
- Iowa Radiology license highly preferred; non-licensed applicants will be considered but must apply for licensure upon offer acceptance — license required if applicable
- Driver's license required for consideration
- Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 12 months; first-time travelers will not be considered
- Supervisory performance evaluation or professional reference from within the past 2 years preferred for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates who were previously employed by the facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for this position
- Travelers are expected to work 2 of the following 3 holidays: Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving
- Time-off requests are limited to 1 day during the Thanksgiving holiday week and the Christmas/New Year's holiday window
