Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring prior ED experience, travel nursing experience, and Cerner EMR proficiency.
Details
- Emergency Department (ED) setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating within skillset required
- Cerner EMR — experience required
- High-volume ED setting with a minimum of 45,600 visits per year (approximately 125 visits/day)
Requirements
- Active MD or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- ED experience within the past 8 months in a facility with at least 45,600 annual visits (125/day) required
- Triage experience required
- Cerner EMR experience required
- Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum overall score of 80% and a score of 100% on the lethal rhythms section
- 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide emergency nursing care in a high-volume ED environment
- 13-week contract
