Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in Louisiana.
Details
- Interventional radiology unit performing angiography for Neuro, Oncology, and Vascular cases, as well as multi-modality biopsies
- May float to the Cath Lab
- High-volume environment averaging 16–20 cases per day
- Epic EMR experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 4x10-hour shift schedule is also an option
- Call requirement of 1 day per week
- 4–6 weekend shifts required over the course of the contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of Interventional Radiology / Cath Lab experience
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Active Louisiana State Radiology Technologist (LSRT) license required if applicable — a temporary LSRT is accepted and typically issued within 3–5 business days upon submission of fee and proof of ARRT certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for the duration of the contract
