Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / Interventional Radiology Tech with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel contract in Louisiana.
Details
- Interventional radiology unit performing angiography for Neuro, Oncology, and Vascular cases, as well as multi-modality biopsies
- High-volume setting with 16–20 cases per day
- May float to the Cath Lab as needed
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM
- One day of call required per week
- 4–6 weekend shifts required over the course of the contract
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology/Cath Lab experience required
- Active ARRT certification required
- Current BLS required
- Active Louisiana State Radiologic Technology (LSRT) license required if applicable — a temporary LSRT is accepted and typically issued within 3–5 business days upon submission of fees and proof of ARRT certification
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform interventional radiology procedures including angiography for Neuro, Oncology, and Vascular specialties, as well as biopsies across multiple modalities
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained in work history
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for consideration
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested during the assignment
