Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Long-Term Care (LTC) position working night shifts with high patient ratios and a minimum of 1 year of LTC experience required.

Details

• Long-term care (LTC) facility setting
• Patient ratios range from 1:22 to 1:44 depending on assignment; candidates must be comfortable with high patient ratios
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Weekends required as needed
• Epic EMR experience is preferred but not required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active SC or Compact RN license required; pending license will be considered if obtained prior to start
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of LTC experience required; 2 years preferred
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible

• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront; RTO requests submitted after initial consideration will not be accommodated
• A Cardiac Dysrhythmia Test is administered on the first day of orientation and must be passed; candidates have only one attempt
• The facility maintains an attendance policy for travelers — missing more than two shifts in a 13-week contract without reasonable explanation may result in contract review and potential cancellation
