Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Trauma ICU position at an academic medical center in St. Louis, MO, requiring 2 years of ICU experience and Epic proficiency on night shifts.

Details

• Trauma ICU unit within a 356-bed non-profit academic medical center and tertiary care facility affiliated with a major university school of medicine
• Cares for ICU and TCU patient populations, including ED holds for ICU and TCU patients
• Uses Epic EMR for charting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend required; no on-call responsibilities
• Floating required to all hospital areas to cover ICU and TCU needs, including the ED

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing to trauma ICU and TCU patients, including those on hold in the ED
• Located in St. Louis, MO — candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Navy scrubs required
