Description
American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist specializing in breast imaging, with ARDMS certification and at least 1 year of experience, for a 13-week contract in California.
Details
- Works within a dedicated breast imaging unit alongside mammography technologists and radiologists
- Exclusively performs breast ultrasound imaging; no general ultrasound responsibilities
- May assist with breast biopsy procedures
- Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- No on-call or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of breast ultrasound experience required
- Proficiency in breast ultrasound is required
- Current BLS (AHA) and ARDMS certification required
- CA license required if applicable
- 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Previous employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
