Description

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with NMTCB/NMT or ARRT certification to perform nuclear cardiology studies in a fast-paced cardiovascular consultants setting.

Details

• Outpatient cardiovascular clinic setting specializing in nuclear cardiology
• Averages 6-7 nuclear studies performed per day
• Uses Siemens gamma camera equipment
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, starting at 6:30 AM

Requirements

• Current NMTCB/NMT or ARRT certification required
• Must be able to independently run cardiac stress tests
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include preparing the camera and doses at the start of each shift and independently performing nuclear cardiology studies throughout the day
• Works within a team of 16 staff members, including 5 Medical Assistants, 2 Echo/Vascular Sonographers, and 3 Cardiologists
• Candidates residing within 90 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
