Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of experience, including structural heart procedures, for a 13-week travel contract in a 4-room cardiac cath lab.
Details
- Work in a facility with 3 cardiac cath procedure rooms and 1 dedicated EP lab
- Adult and geriatric patient population
- Average caseload of 3 cases per room
- Procedures include cardiac catheterization and intervention, structural heart (TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman), peripheral vascular angiography and intervention, EP ablations, and device implants
- 4x10 hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Call requirement of 6–8 days per month, including 4–5 weekday call shifts and 1 weekend call shift per month
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cath Lab, Structural Heart, and EP — structural heart experience is required
- Current BLS, ARRT certification, and Fluoroscopy Permit required
- Proficiency with Surgery/C-Arm procedures, scrubbing, PACS, and fluoroscopy studies
- Experience with stents, angioplasty, angiograms, and peripheral upper/lower extremity vascular and venous studies
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- All time off requests must be submitted prior to the start of the contract
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years are required for consideration
- Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained is required for consideration
