Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced OR RN Circulator for a travel assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of OR experience and an active TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital Operating Room setting
• Role functions as an RN Circulator
• Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (6:45–15:15)
• On-call required as part of the late call team; specific call details to be discussed during interview
• Block scheduling is not guaranteed
• Floating between like units and campuses within 20 miles may occur, though cross-campus floating is rare
• Cerner EMR experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN state license or compact (NLC-compliant) license required; no pending licensure accepted
• Minimum 2 years of OR experience required for candidates with prior travel experience; minimum 3 years required for candidates without prior travel experience
• ADN or higher required for this position
• Driver's License required for consideration
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers will not be considered

Additional Information

• Candidate must reside at least 100 miles from the facility — this rule is strictly enforced and local candidates are not accepted
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must be separated from the facility for at least one year before being eligible to return as a traveler
• All requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront, as it cannot be approved after the initial submission
• Holiday coverage: if Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's fall within the assignment period, candidates must be willing to work at least 2 of the 3; if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment, at least 1 must be worked
• Vaccination documentation must be provided
