Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a full-service Nuclear Medicine department at a large hospital.

Details

• Full-service Nuclear Medicine department within a large acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:5 in a high-volume unit
• Monday through Friday, day shift 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekends are not required but available for additional pickup
• No on-call requirement

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience; 3+ years preferred
• Large hospital setting experience required
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
• Cerner EMR experience preferred
• At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers are not eligible
• Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Valid Driver's License required for consideration
• Active license in applicable state required, if applicable

Additional Information

• Candidates must be available to work at least 1 holiday if 2 end-of-year holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) fall within the assignment period, or at least 2 of 3 if all three holidays fall within the assignment
• RTO must be disclosed upfront; any time off not submitted at the time of consideration will not be approved
• Former permanent employees or internal associate travelers must have been separated for at least one year before returning as a traveler
• Vaccination status must be provided
