Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a General Pediatrics/Peds Float Pool night shift position requiring 2 years of pediatric experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

• Position is located in a General Pediatrics/Peds Float Pool unit (D7) within a hospital setting
• Night shift hours: 19:00–07:30
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NY State RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in General Pediatrics required
• Epic EMR experience is required; candidates without Epic experience will not be considered
• Current BLS certification required, must be issued by AHA or RQI
• Active US Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
• Flu vaccination required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious declinations will not be honored
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius and outside the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington — local candidates from these areas are not eligible
• No blocked scheduling is permitted
• More than 3 call-outs during the contract period may result in termination; any required make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application
• Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
