Description
American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist with home health experience for a 13-week travel contract providing PT services to patients in their place of residence across the North Shore region of Massachusetts.
Details
- Home health setting serving patients in their place of residence in the Lynn, Nahant, and Saugus areas of Massachusetts
- Float position covering the North Region service area; ability to travel to assigned cases required
- Patients range in age from birth to 100+ years, with physical impairments, functional limitations, or disabilities resulting from injury, disease, or other causes
- Shift hours are 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Weekend rotations occur once every 6 weeks
- Utilizes Epic for electronic documentation
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist license required; MA Conditional Licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of home health experience required
- AHA-only certifications accepted
- Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions allowed
- 2 professional references required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- Responsibilities include evaluating and treating patients in their homes, collaborating with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals to coordinate care
- Timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication are essential components of this role
- Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- Local candidates residing within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are eligible for this position
- Any requested time off must be disclosed at the time of consideration
- Parking is not validated at Boston-area locations; public parking lots are available at candidate's expense
