Description

American Traveler is hiring a Chemo-Bio Certified RN for an Outpatient Oncology Infusion Center position in Virginia, delivering specialized infusion care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Details

  • Outpatient infusion center setting
  • Adult patient population receiving chemotherapy, high-risk infusions, injections, therapeutic phlebotomy, blood transfusions, and central line management
  • Approximately 25–45 patients seen per day with 2–3 nurses per shift
  • Day shift, 3x11-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements

  • Active VA or Compact RN license required and must be in hand at time of consideration
  • Current AHA BLS certification required
  • Current Chemo-Bio certification required
  • Prior oncology infusion or chemotherapy nursing experience required
  • PDF copies of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
  • Any requested RTO must be submitted upfront, as no RTO will be approved after an offer is made

  • Administer chemotherapy, high-risk infusions, injections, therapeutic phlebotomy, blood transfusions, and manage central lines
  • Strong emphasis on relationship-based, patient-centered care
  • Highly collaborative team environment requiring flexibility
  • COVID vaccination or approved exemption required
  • Flu vaccine required during flu season (Oct 1 – Mar 31), with exemptions subject to CMS guideline review
