Description
American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist with acute care experience and MBS proficiency for a hospital-based travel contract with a rotating weekend schedule.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting treating adult patients
- Day shift schedule, 8:30am to 5pm, 5 days x 8 hours
- Days of the week rotate; no on-call required
- Weekend rotation required, approximately every 3rd Saturday and Sunday
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience with adults required (1 year may be considered if acute care internship was completed)
- Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) experience required
- Active, unrestricted SLP license in the state of assignment (license required if applicable)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- ACLS certification (American Heart Association)
- PALS certification (American Heart Association)
- Must have worked in the submitted specialty within the last 3 months
- 2 supervisory references required: one from within the past year and one from within the past 2 years
- Candidates must have no prior hits on their license
Additional Information
- Experience with pediatric MBS is a strong plus
- Candidates with more than 5 days of RTO will not be considered
- Date of birth and SSN required for consideration
