Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring an active TX or compact RN license and at least 1 year of L&D experience.

Details

• Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM (3x12s)
• Charting system: Epic (experience required)
• Cares for patients requiring labor, delivery, postpartum, and vaginal examination management
• COVID-positive patients are part of the patient population

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• BSN degree preferred
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ACLS, NRP (AHA or Red Cross; NALS also accepted), and Basic/AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring
• Minimum 1 year of L&D experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• DOB and SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Mother/baby, postpartum, and vaginal examination experience is a plus
• Scrub color: Navy or Royal Blue
• Local candidates are accepted for this position
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification is preferred but Basic is accepted
