Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position at a community hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and proficiency in ventilator management and dysrhythmia interpretation.
Details
- Community hospital ICU setting serving an adult patient population
- 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 or 48 hours per week accepted
- Every other weekend coverage required
- Medication management via Accudose system
- Clinical documentation via Cerner
- SBAR used as the primary communication framework
Requirements
- Active CT or Compact RN license required
- Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
- Community hospital experience required
- Proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
- Experience with Pulmonary Artery/Swan-Ganz line monitoring
- Central line care and management experience
- IV insertion skills required
- Experience caring for and managing ventilated patients
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply

- All time-off and scheduling requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
- Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are considered local and may be subject to a different pay rate
