Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 17-week night shift IMCU/Stepdown assignment requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and a GA or compact RN license.
Details
- Works in an Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) serving as a bridge between PCU and ICU in an acute care hospital setting
- Patient population includes vented patients and those requiring critical drips
- Patient ratio is 3:1
- 12-hour night shifts
- Assignment length is 17 weeks
- EMR system used is MEDITECH
Requirements
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Proficiency in medication management required
- Experience with vented patients and critical drips required
- A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility (measured to the address on file with the driver's license) to be eligible for placement
- Candidates who have been employed by this facility within the last 12 months are not eligible for placement
- Any time off or scheduling requests must be submitted prior to the start of the assignment
- 16-hour orientation included
