Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience, OR and fluoroscopy background, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center.

Details

  • Short-term acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center setting
  • X-Ray department with general radiographer responsibilities
  • 1:1 patient ratio
  • OR and fluoroscopy procedures performed
  • Epic EMR used; experience required
  • 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
  • Some weekday backup and OR on-call coverage required
  • Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)
  • OR and fluoroscopy experience preferred
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Active professional license required if applicable
  • Current ARRT certification and applicable state licensure required

Additional Information

  • Perform general radiographer duties including OR imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact candidacy
  • All scrub colors are accepted
  • No parking fee on site
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
  • SSN and DOB required for consideration
