Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience, OR and fluoroscopy background, and Epic proficiency for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level III Trauma Center.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital and Level III Trauma Center setting
- X-Ray department with general radiographer responsibilities
- 1:1 patient ratio
- OR and fluoroscopy procedures performed
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- 5x8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Some weekday backup and OR on-call coverage required
- Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray)
- OR and fluoroscopy experience preferred
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active professional license required if applicable
- Current ARRT certification and applicable state licensure required
Additional Information
- Perform general radiographer duties including OR imaging and fluoroscopy procedures
- First-time travelers will be considered for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred; excessive time-off requests may impact candidacy
- All scrub colors are accepted
- No parking fee on site
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty are required for consideration
- SSN and DOB required for consideration
