Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN - First Assist for a 13-week OR assignment requiring at least 1 year of RNFA experience and the ability to scrub all service lines except heart and transplant.

Details

• 10-hour shifts scheduled 0630–1700 on a rotating weekly basis: one week Monday–Thursday, the following week Tuesday–Friday
• 40 hours per week in an Operating Room setting
• Must be able to assist across all surgical service lines except heart and transplant

Requirements

• Active RN license (KS or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN First Assist (RNFA)
• No more than 90 days of gap in entire work history
• At least 1 professional reference covering entire work history

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers — no radius rule applies
• Former permanent employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 90 days before returning as a traveler
• Two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine are required, or an approved declination (booster not required)
