Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an EP Lab position requiring at least 1 year of EP experience and a valid MO or compact RN license, with skills in circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing EP procedures.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting in a dedicated EP Lab with 2 EP rooms and 3 EP providers
- Average daily census of 4–8 EP procedures per day, including EP cases and implants
- Procedures require circulating, conscious sedation, monitoring, and scrubbing
- Biosense Webster Mapping system used for EP procedures
- Charting is done in Epic
- Day shift schedule: 4x10-hour shifts, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM
- Free parking available on-site
Requirements
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of EP Lab experience required
- Proficiency in circulating, conscious sedation, scrubbing, and telemetry monitoring required
- Experience with Epic EMR required
- Comfortable scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring EP cases and implants
Additional Information
- Circulate, monitor, and scrub all EP procedures daily
- Scrubs are provided by the facility
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- Travelers may remain at this facility for up to 18 months, after which a 3-month break in service is required
- Former permanent employees of any BJC facility must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
