Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Stepdown Intermediate Care position requiring at least 2 years of experience, ACLS/BLS/NIHSS certifications, and a Michigan RN license.

Details

• 22-bed Stepdown Intermediate Care unit in a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required on an as-needed basis
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Charting via Cerner PowerChart
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of stepdown or intermediate care RN experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Preferred certification: Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
• Cerner PowerChart experience preferred
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
